| America and King James in the Revelation This book is given freely to all the brothers and sisters in Christ who have dedicated their lives to serving the lost souls of this world by spreading the everlasting gospel of Christ’s undying love for them. It is meant to be a source for revealing many of the false “End Times” teachings so prevalent in the churches of today and as an exhortation for all believers to be “watchmen” for this lost and dying world. Disclaimer The End Times Baptist Bible Ministries is not a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization. This is due to the fact that all 501 (c) (3) tax exempt religious organizations must adhere to the following clause in IRS Publication 557, page20: “To determine whether an organization meets the religious purposes test of section 501(c) (3), the IRS maintains two basic guidelines: 1) That the particular religious beliefs of the organization are truly and sincerely held, and 2) That the practices and rituals associated with the organization’s religious belief or creed are not illegal or contrary to clearly defined public policy. Hence, your group (or organization) may not qualify for treatment as an exempt religious organization for tax purposes if its actions, as contrasted with its beliefs, are contrary to well established and clearly defined public policy.” Today, the United States of America is governed by declarations of “Tolerance” and “Cultural Diversity” is taught at schools and businesses alike. “Intolerance” of any form is now illegal and against clearly defined public policy. We are now, by human rights laws in effect in this country, commanded by rule of law to tolerate all lifestyles, religions and cultures. Religious absolutism is now against the law in America; the country that by its earliest Supreme Court rulings was declared a “Christian” nation at its onset. The enforcement of these human rights laws for religious organizations may soon be enforced through the “religious purposes tests” as defined by the IRS and the “tax exempt status” of a religious organization. The only way to avoid conflict against religious intolerance laws is to agree that all religions are the same and to engage in a dialogue to find “common ground.” The doctrines of true Christianity are in enmity with declarations of tolerance for all cultures, lifestyles and religions. My Bible states in John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” Any believer who “imposes this view” (i.e., witnesses of our Lord’s saving grace alone) upon any other individual with a different lifestyle, creed, culture or religion, may now be considered in violation of religious intolerance regulations by current United States laws and “clearly defined public policy.” The fact that these laws are not often enforced here in this country does hinder the reality that they may soon be enforced in the very near future. Therefore, The End Times Baptist Bible Ministries will not solicit nor accept any tax deductible donations, nor will it seek any voluntary governmental protections under the 501(c) (3) tax code. This ministry will instead, continue to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (unhindered by IRS tax codes) and the full counsel of God to all who have ears to hear and eyes to see until our Lord takes us home to be with Him forever more. Introduction The Bible is the true, literal, living Word of God, brought forth by holy men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (II Peter 1:21). I marvel at the wonderful detail God’s Word brings to light of the times we are living in today: details of the world’s morals, of finances, politics and most especially, of those who shall rule and those who shall serve. The Bible sheds light unto a dark and empty world for those who believe the Word. The world’s multitudes, however, are blindly marching on the broad way “that leadeth to destruction” (Matt. 7:13). Most disturbing, moreover, is the failure of many God-fearing, Bible believing brothers and sisters in Christ who are not living in the full glory of God’s Word. They are blinded by false doctrines and the commandments of men sent by Satan to deceive those who are not wary (Matt. 24:11&24, II Timothy 4:3- 4). Furthermore, these false doctrines abound in even the most fundamental, independent, evangelistic, soul winning, Christ centered, congregations across our land today. This book is not written so much as an evangelism tool for the lost, but rather as an admonition to God’s people to return to the source of all truth, God’s Word alone. The Lord urges all to place their trust in the Holy Ghost to teach us all things (Luke 12:12, John 14:26, I John 2:27), and not in prophecy seminars, doctrinal books and celebrity preachers. This book should challenge you to test some of the most cherished doctrines held by a majority of fundamentalists today, yet not by my word, but by the Word of God alone. The method of Bible prophecy interpretation is revealed in three sets of verses. First, II Peter 1:20 states that the Bible is the only source for finding the interpretation of any prophecy. Thus, all prophecies of the Scripture are interpreted by the Word of God alone: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” Therefore, the Holy Scriptures are the only source of truth and all interpretations of the Bible must have supporting scriptural references that are in agreement, “Do not interpretations belong to God?”(Gen. 40:8). Second, II Corinthians 13:1 states that every Word is established by two or three witnesses: “. . . In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” Therefore, no single verse can stand alone to establish a doctrinal truth. All doctrine and all Bible prophecy interpretations require at least two or three related verses to firmly fix and confirm the intention, purpose and significance of the Scripture being examined. Third, Isaiah 28:9-13 again confirms the use of both two or three witnesses and the comparative analysis of similar Scriptures that are consistent and in harmony: “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:” Therefore the method of Bible prophecy interpretation is to first recognize the authority of the Scriptures to interpret themselves and then compare those Scriptures that are in agreement with the purpose and intent of the precept being examined, line upon line. In addition, Isaiah 28:9-13 clearly authorizes the use of Scriptures from different sections of the Bible for these comparisons, “here a little, and there a little.” The Bible further exhorts all believers to “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (I Thess. 5:21). We are not to accept any work by man without going to the Scriptures to prove it ourselves using the method outlined above. In I John 2:27, we are taught that we have no need that any man should teach us but the Holy Ghost alone. Therefore it is not flesh and blood that can reveal the truth of any prophecy, but God alone (Matt 16:17). This is best witnessed by I Corinthians 2:12-13: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” Therefore, through the power of the Holy Ghost and by diligent study (II Tim 2:15), the ardent student of Bible prophecy is assured of the true methods to achieve the correct interpretations. The theme of this book is found in Revelation 19:10: “. . . for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Unto each born again believer the Lord gives a personal testimony of salvation, yet the testimony of Jesus is the “spirit of prophecy.” In John 5:39, Jesus likewise establishes the Scriptures as His testimony: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” Therefore knowing and understanding Bible prophecy is to know, understand and to accept the testimony of Jesus Christ. Noah Webster defines the word believe as: “To credit upon the authority or testimony of another; to be persuaded of the truth of something upon the declaration of another.” Isaiah 46:9-10 states to us: "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” It is the pleasure of the Lord that all men would be saved (John 3:16) and that all would believe. Therefore it is through His testimony that any man could be convinced of the truth of His righteousness, power and might by simply accepting the things that were written in the ancient of times and now are being fulfilled at the time of the end. The Scriptures and Bible prophecy are the Lord’s testimony. Through His life, all prophecies have been and shall be completely fulfilled. Therefore, throughout this small work, the underlying theme is to reveal the power of the Lord’s testimony and thereby persuade all men that salvation can be attained through the belief in the truth. The purpose of this book is to sound the warning trumpet to all those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. The return of the Lord draws nearer each and every day, yet the world is blinded by the meaning of the events occurring throughout the earth. We hear of wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines and pestilence. All these were declared from the ancient of times as the signs of His return. It is the burden of every born again Christian to warn the lost and to preach the gospel unto all creatures. Perhaps, the most convicting Scriptures given by the Lord for sounding the warning to the lost are found in the words of Ezekiel the prophet (Ezekiel 33:1-6): “Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” We who have been given the truth are all watchmen for the people (Acts 20: 26-27). We shall all stand before our Lord Jesus Christ and give account for what we have done while in our earthly bodies (II Cor. 5:10). The central message of this book is to send forth a warning to all who shall hear and understand the truth of God’s pure and Holy Word, free from the adulteration of man’s traditions and false teachings. I pray that your own personal study of these Scriptures shall bring forth the fruits of a convicted spirit to warn all those who will hear, lest their blood be required at your own hands.
